Today is Deepavali in Malaysia and I am spending the day in celebration with my Hindu friends in Simpang Ampat. My wife is in Kulim with her Hindu friends while my son is visitng his own circle of Hindu friends in Seberang Jaya! 
Known as the Festival of Lights, Deepavali symbolises the victory of good over evil. Arrays of lamps are lit as a sign of celebration and hope for mankind.
