Rockwills Corporation Sdn Bhd, which provides professional will-writing and will custody services, is aiming to write 15,000 wills by the end of this year. Its chief executive officer, Saw Leong Aun, said from January to August this year, the company has already written 8,000 wills.He said the company had allocated more than RM1 million for advertising and promotions this year in order to meet its target.
Last year, the company prepared 13,000 wills, he told a press conference after signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with eight charitable organisations in conjunction with the company’s ‘Will for Charity’ campaign which was launched on 4 Sep 2008.
The ‘Will for Charity’ campaign was part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme as it also carried a strong community service message for the welfare of those who need help.
Under the campaign, those who write their wills and are looking to take up a noble cause are also given the option of making a contribution to any of the eight charitable organisations under the campaign.
