Legislation affecting financial planning

What are the legislation in Malaysia that will affect financial planners most or at the very least, should be good for them to know or be aware of? In my opinion, below are the few pertinent ones which I present in no particular order. At one time or another, they have been useful to me. And they still are! These pieces of legislation can be found at the Attorney-General’s Chambers website.

Age of Majority Act 1971
Bankruptcy Act 1967
Distribution Act 1958
Employees Provident Fund Act 1991
Guardianship of Infants Act 1961
Inheritance (Family Provision) Act 1971
Insurance Act 1996
Powers of Attorney Act 1949
Trustee Act 1949
Unclaimed Moneys Act 1965
Wills Act 1959
