What’s the dilemma facing Malaysian Human Resource? According to what I’ve been hearing, the worries and problems associated with foreign workers are:
Get Vietnamese workers, dogs go missing.
Get Bangladeshi workers, girls go missing.
Get Indonesian workers, money goes missing.
Get Indian workers, jewellery goes missing.
Get Chinese workers, husbands go missing.
Foreign workers are wanted by most industries and yet when problems arise, the Human Resource people have to face them alone. The attitude of the rest of the Management are: You bring them here, you settle the problem. What we want is that they’ll be around tomorrow for the production, no line stoppages.
So do local workers fare any better than the foreign legion? Apparently not, because: Get Malaysian workers, they go missing!
