Bathe your mind

How would you feel if you don’t bathe for several days? Would you feel clean? Would you feel energetic? Would you feel healthy? Or would you feel dirty, tired and sick? I know how I’d feel.

It’s part of our culture to bathe daily to keep ourselves clean and fresh. But cleaning the body is not enough; we also need to realise that we should clear our mind of the clutter of worries and negative emotions. When accummulated, these emotions will lead to lack of motivation, low confidence and hopelessness.

So here’s a piece of advice to help you stay positive in your work. Read something inspirational everyday. Do what motivational speakers often tell us to do: clean up our minds with inspirational words. Take some minutes to reflect on them. You’ll soon be seeing your spirits soar.

And if you do this regularly, negative thoughts will not dwell in your mind for long. You’ll stay balanced and positive, despite all the challenges in your life.
